This blog is called The Invisible God because I love the verse in the Bible found in Hebrews 11:27.

“By faith (Moses) left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.” Hebrews 11:27

In the fall of 1994, I was waiting in a hospital room at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, when I stumbled upon that verse. My husband was there for a kidney transplant, and it wasn’t working very well. We had been married about five years and our married life had been relatively easy up to that point.

I know that the Lord gave me Hebrews 11:27 to help us face harder things that lay ahead…
